The long-running tabletop gaming convention is moving to a new home for 2026. From Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, MegaMooseCon will be hosted at Luck Factory Games inside the Gibson Mill complex in Concord, North Carolina.
The move brings a convention that has grown alongside its community for 15 years to North Carolina’s largest board game cafe, located just north of Charlotte and home to a library of more than 1,000 games.
What is MegaMooseCon?
MegaMooseCon is a tabletop gaming convention focused on giving people a fun, friendly place to enjoy the hobby together.
That means three days of gathering around tables, discovering unfamiliar games, revisiting old favorites, and meeting the people who make the local tabletop community worth being part of.
The 2026 event is inviting community members to host a wide range of programming, including board game tournaments, tabletop RPG sessions, game demonstrations, panels, and social deduction games. The final schedule is still taking shape, so there should be plenty more to discover as the convention gets closer.
Whether you are looking for a full weekend of strategy games, want to try a new RPG, or simply miss the particular joy of learning a game from someone who cannot wait to teach it, MegaMooseCon is building a weekend around playing together.
A new home at Luck Factory Games
Luck Factory Games has already become a gathering place for tabletop players throughout the Charlotte area. Hosting MegaMooseCon gives that community three full days to stretch out, settle in, and turn Gibson Mill into one very large game night.

- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

- Adult weekend badge: $40 plus Tabletop.Events fees at the time of writing
Organizers have said badge sales will be capped at approximately 150 to 200 attendees because of the available space. Anyone planning to attend should reserve a badge rather than assume one will still be available at the door.
